Oh my god! I'm officially 27! Baby was so sweet to sprang a surprise party for me on the 28th March. Will blog in detail when I get the pics out of my camera. My XD/USB reader don't seemed to work.

blabbering...

Thank you everyone for being so concerned for my well-being. I'm right now on the lookout for any suitable jobs, so do let me know if you know of any. In fact, I've been going for some interviews already, but so far, no news yet. I'll keep you guys updated...

Baby was driving me to an interview last Friday when I saw No. 3 on the streets! Omigod... I actually didn't recognise him instantly, but instead kinda of remembered his girlfriend's look. So there I was, seeing this guy talking aggressively to his nonchalant girlfriend, while walking towards the bus-stop. He looked really haggard, beyong his age. It's amazing sometimes to me, how once friends and lovers could become total strangers. I mean, who would have known the stories between us? We seemed like 2 different people, who just happened to be at the same place at the same time.

It's not like I still have feelings for him, but seeing him, makes me ponder on how life unfolds itself. There's no fixed and fast rule as to how to lead your life, and since everyone chooses his own path, hence everyone's life is different. There's so many people around you, but how are you to know all their stories? Perhaps because I'm super free now, I'm really curious about everyone's story. I would love to know the happiness, the grief, the anger and all the different kinds of emotions one experience. Oh no, I'm blabbering.

Anyway, it suddenly dawned on me how long it had been since I was with him. I mean, for the past 5 years, so many has changed in my life. Life is so unpredictable... I wonder what holds for me?

Exercise on a really hot Sunday

Yeah! Finally got my lazybones to East Coast~
It was an extremely hot day, averaging from 30-36 degrees!
Most of the attendees got sunburnt but the scorching sun,
but it was good to work out that aged body of mine.
The picnic was good too,
especially Jyna's curry.
Yummy!
Planning to go again coming Sunday.
Let me know if you are keen.
Woke up at 0730 to start preparing for the sandwiches.
Supposed to meet at 1000, but was delayed by the preparation.
When finally everything was done, rushing to CTE, realised I don't have my mobile with me.
Had a strong feeling I left it at home. Called home and my bro said I left it at my gram's.
Shucks! Had to detour back to CCK to get my phone.
No wonder I was wondering how come nobody called me to ask for my whereabouts.
Finally reached at 1100. Decided to have our lunch as breakfast instead.
So glad that so many people turned up: Amanda & Don, Valen, Kelvin, Ann & hubby, Sze Hui & Lionel, me & Chris and Shuying & Robin.

WON Bowl & Karaoke

Went bowling and KTV with ex-colleagues from WON. Met up first at Kallang Leisure Park for the bowl. It's been more than a year since I last bowl. Hmm didn't do quite badly I guess.

Zen was really a good bowler. The top player for the 2 games I played. Wow, never knew she's so good.
Met Ann's assistant, Joey. Seemed a nice girl, very soft spoken though. Was the second-best player that night.
Emiri was there too. Slimmed down a lot. Must be getting ready to be a beautiful bride later this year. I can't wait to witness it.
Met up with Kelvin @ K-box AMK after that.
Was famished, so had to hide in a corner to sneakily eat Mac.

Stupid StarHub

So angry this morning! Because my baby went home really late last night, I was too tired to talk to him on the phone whilst he drives. But when I woke up at 5+ to go to the loo, I was shocked that he hasn't messaged me. I flew into a panic. Called him on the phone for at least 10 times. No answer. Kept thinking to myself, 'What if something happened to him?', 'Why didn't I chat with him while he drives?'.
Was so upset. No answer still. SMS-ed him. Nothing. Tried to sleep. Can't. 6am. Still no news. 7am. Silence. Managed to fall asleep. 7.30am. Woke up by SMS. He messaged me that he was too tired and forgot to message me when he got back. Too tired, went back to zzz.

So angry when I finally gain conscious at 11+. I called him so many times and he never pick up the phone. Made me panic for nothing. Called him. Hung up on me. SMS me that he is in a meeting.

Called me at 12+. Said he did not receive any call last night. Was even more pissed. Told him to change his service provider. I mean, this is not the first time this has happened. When we were not even dating, there was once when I messaged him that I was home, but he didn't receive it. He was about to step out of his house to go look for me, he decided to try calling first. I was of course safely home. He only received the SMS the next day. And there were many times whereby SMSes were only received hours later, sometimes even days later.

Got even more angry when he dun believe I called him and said maybe I was dreaming. Super pissed! Damn StarHub. Was so angry that I refused to talk to him. He later MSN me and said he called StarHub and gave them a piece of his mind. They offered him some $100 voucher. Same old trick. Everytime just offer this $100 voucher.

So angry. Kept thinking to myself, what if I was in an emergency? What if I only had 1 chance to call for help to save my life? I would be dead by the next day. Super angry!!!

My virgin dinner attempt

Nothing much to do at home these days.
Decided to cook myself some congee to satisy my hunger.

Nice.

And due to my personal satisfaction from this, I've decided to whip up dinner for my family.

Those who knew me personally probably know that I'm only an expert in instant mee.
Hence to embark on this challenge is no mean feat.

And my menu goes like this
1) ABC soup
2) Black pepper chicken
3) Minced meat with beancurd
4) Beansprouts with dou gan & fish cake
5) Almond jelly with longan

Yup, menu seemed simple, but really I'm not exactly talented in that area.
Admitted I got some help from mum with dish 2, but I made all the rest myself from scratch.

Mum gave me 70/100. Baby was more supportive, he gave me 90/100. Baby even thought that I bought the almond jelly, said it tasted too good. Though it's not something very difficult to make, I'm so happy that he mistook that as being bought.
Stupid bro commented that the best dish was otah, which was bought and not made by me! But later said that the food was passable, though I should embark on something more exclusive and not just dwell on homemade dishes. C'mon cut me some slack. Must step by step what.

Was so excited and happy that I forgot to take photos of the dishes. Seriously, they're really not bad. I'm quite pleased myself too.

Wanna recommend you some "good stuff" that I've been using now.
This BB cream is good. Bought this in Japan. Not sure if it's available in SG.
Liked the slight fragrance of this cream and its coverage is good.

Googled and only found 1 page in Thai on it.
Guess it's not widely sold then.
Would highly recommend this to those wanna experience the goodness of BB cream.

But since it's not exactly easily available in SG,
there's another BB cream which I would recommend.

I got this sample from Fr3b, the free-sampling website that I mentioned previously.

Next up, a popular series of mask from Taiwan.
Bought a lot from Taiwan.
Introducing, 我的美麗日記mask.

I tried the Apple mask first.Supposed to help minimise pores. Didn't exactly saw the pore-minimising effect, but loved the apple scent it had.
I'm super surprised by the nice fragrance and immediately fell in love with it.
Sometimes, lovely scents disillusioned your mind. I felt beautiful instantly. Haha.

Seriously, let's talk about the after effect of the mask. Felt skin was supple and smooth.
Was soft to the touch even after 3-4 hours after. Usually my face would excrete a lot of oil 3 hours after application. But this time, it didn't.
Sometimes you gotta believe what they say on the net. Testimonials are not always faked and thought up by manufacturers.
Thumbs ups for this product.
And... gals whom I'm meeting this Sunday, you are in luck.
No prizes for guessing what I got for you from Taiwan....
except the masks.
Will review the rest of the variety that I bought.
Hmmm comtemplating on buying this back to sell to locals.
