Was reading Essentials of Four Pillars of Destiny whilst attending to gallery. Found really interesting stuff inside. Actually Feng Shui is very interesting by nature. I seriously wouln't mind taking a course on it if only my Chinese wasn't that bad. Sigh, I just have to blame it on the inventor of the Chinese characters. If he had not devised so many strokes, I would have mastered the language perfectly, considering that I actually topped my primary school in Chinese in P6.
Anyway, I'm a Water person. And according to this book, I'm witty, resourceful and adaptable. I'm likely to be wilful, self-centred and scheming too. H'mmm I disagree with that last point, but the rest are pretty much reflective of me in reality.

I'm 壬水, which makes me "water of the rivers".

Rivers and oceans are infinitely travelling --> Participates fervently in all things and enjoys social activities. Is energetic no matter where he is. Loves freedom and is a relaxed and optimistic individual.

Water travels in a downward direction, from high to low, and never reverses its flow --> Does not reminisce nor persist.

When water travels and encounters divergence, it quickly permeates through --> Strong permeability and influence.

When water flow is impeded, it travels in another direction --> Is courageous and does not give up in the face of difficulties. Hard to block his path or change his mindset and decisions.
Adaptability skills are superb. Tries to overcome any obstacles in the way to achieve his goal. When obstructed, the individual will take an alternative route instead of a head-on approach. Is tactful and diplomatic towards matters.

When the volume of water is too full, it spills over --> Will rather fight to the dealth and incur a lose-lose situation.

Principal concentration of river currents that will later split into smaller streams --> Can accepy all manner of things, which suggests an outstanding learning ability.
Bestowed with intelligence. Is by nature clever and inspired constantly. This type of individual values freedom and dislikes restraints. Appears wilful and does not suit any routine jobs.
May seem unstable and wayward since he enjoys challenges.

In conclusion:


Object: Clever, loves freedom, carefree, witty, a strategist and has strong adaptabilty skills. Tactful, does not reminisce nor persist.

Weakness: Wilful and unstoppable. Dislikes restrictions and will attempt overcome or shake off these constraints. As a result, appears unstable.


Is that reflective of me? I think quite true to a large extent. So who says that all these are non-scientific and purely superstition? I beg to differ...
