Finally after 2 hard and long years, I've finally surrendered my white envelope. A rather timely exit because the company's gonna have a road show in August and that would be an entire weekend burnt. So for the time for me to start job sourcing once again. Sigh, have to start all over again. The process of writing application forms, interviews, getting to know colleagues, new environment, job scope, etc. The weariness of all.

It's been a few days but no one from the company has asked me to stay. It's standard SOP that whenever someone quits, someone from the management will start persuading the quitter not to leave. Hence I guess I'm not that useful to the company or rather, the company has already used up what they wanna use from me. Anyway the daughter's coming back and I've already stand in so long for her, I guess it's really time for me to go.

Wish me luck in finding a new job though. The road ahead is scary...

===========================================
Due to my craze for Korean food, when I saw this restaurant along Thomson Road, I knew I'll have to give it a try.
And here's to celebrate my new lease of life.
So I went to Auntie Kim's

The setup
Korean barley wheat tea is free!
Yummy
The appetisers

Our first dish-Hoplate beef or So Jung Sik (S$16).
Found it too tough.
Tad too sweet too.
Loved the golden mushroom though.
Next we have the Tung Hoon.
Very nice but a bit too oily.
Kimchi chigae or spicy kimchi cabbage soup with tofu.
Too sour for my taste.
I was never a fan for kimchi.
The ugly mess
Overall experience was okay,
but I found the meal slightly overpriced. We paid $51++.
I still prefer the Korean restaurant along Bukit Timah Road.
The place is not so classy but still decent.
Other reviews mentioned that there's complimentary desserts served but there was nothing for us. Minus points for that.
Read other reviews.
I never truly understood my crave for Korean food.
I hated the food I ate in Korea when I went there at the age of 16.
Hated the food. Only slurp udon every meal.
I'm weird.
