Finally had to savour the Yong Tau Foo
from this super popular stall in Chinatown
永祥兴豆腐
(I think that's how you read it)
(I think that's how you read it)
I've always wanted to try it,
but by the time I reached,
the stall is already closed.
So the much anticipated wait...

Soup at first taste is bland,
but the more you taste it,
you'll find yourself enjoying the sweetness of the stock.
Soy bean is definitely one of the key to the loveliness.
Considerably expensive at $3.50
since you only have the tau foo and soup.
No noodles. No choosing of what you want.
You can only tell the stall owner how many bowls.
Not worth to go ga-ga over it.
But being the true Hakka,
I appreciate the authencity of it.
If not, you'll probably still starve.
What nonsense am I babbling?
