Bad start to my long awaited holiday

8am flight, overslept, missed flight, overbooked situation, next flight out late, auto cancellation of following connecting flights, now still in SG. BB had to meet friend, went through a lot of hoo haa, beg for favours, another $1800 just to get another carrier to fly to Taiwan two way. Forfeit HK trip & hotel payment. :(

Upset but happy that my BB still forgave me at the end of it. Now waiting to board the flight to Taipei. Hope everything will go smoothly from now!
