Forgive me if I've not been updating this blog. You know as one gets older, one tends to get lazy... okok I admit, it's just me.
Sidetrack a little: I've recently discovered a new platform to blog. It's this app called Dayre. Basically you blog from your phone and it's way more convenient given the fact that I cannot blog from Blooger app as you need to sign up for Picasso for photo upload.

So I guess life has been treating me quite well after I broke up with my ex. Well once you have hit rock bottom, I guess there's no way you can go even lower. So life's good and having all my friends and family around me, all of them very healthy, I guess you cannot ask for more.
So after torturing indulging myself with alcohol for about a year plus, the binge drinking subsided. Actually my drinking khakis stopped drinking as much, so basically I've got no one to go drinking with. So 2013 see Sharon reducing her alcohol consumption drastically, which is good I guess, at least it's for the better of my liver!
A couple of my friends found happiness in their lives too!!! Julynn, Chai Ling, Huiting & Bernard got married in the year of the snake! Huiyi got engaged with Samuel, Tracie got together with Euegene and me with dar bfren (a bit paiseh to mention). Oh ya and the upcoming XiaoBai & Quzhi 众望所归，年度婚礼 wedding that we are all looking forward!
Dang dang dang dang, dang dang dang dang~
And of course, what comes after the wedding bells? Marriage woes I hear? C'mon think positively - your bundle of joy will appear! Siew Yen, Julynn, Chai Ling, Charng Ling, Annemarie and Stacey all became first-time mums!!!
Travelling!!! This year, I've also managed to travel quite a bit, both for leisure and for work. Umpteen times to Malaysia (memorable ones being a "I placed a wrong stake and had to admit defeat" Port Dickson with COT, my Birthday celebration in Sanrio Town, a super impromptu staycation at JB, a family trip to Genting), 2 times to BKK (1 work trip [ flew business class, wooohoo!] and 1 shopping trip), 1 Macau work trip (finally!!!) and a Taiwan holiday before my new job. Will be finishing off with a Cameron trip with COT.
Work probably takes up the bulk of my life, beside the nau-ing I need akin to oxygen. So Triumph work was pretty fun this year, everything was smooth-running, of course with the help of my beloved team! Ran the entire CNY roadshow myself, did the sloggi flash mob which was super SUCCESSFUL, conceived my baby - the "Body Make-Up" event all by myself (wow was super tired yet impressed with myself, just like how I ran the "Making Women Shine" event last year), helped in the Sentosa and F1 Valisere/HOM event (I had the "honour" of being the guys' dresser), helped out in the production of 2 TV shows and even appearing in one, alongside with the Caldecott Queen Zoe Tay and popular host Kym Ng, did a show on Toggle TV as well (should have be out, but I didn't check). Then started my new job in a totally different industry and scope. Frankly I'm NOT adapting. Well, I'm giving myself 3 months to figure this thing out, if works don't work out, I'm OUT! (wow it rhymes!)
Well that pretty much sums up my 2013. Okay okay, I know my life's boring, but what do you expect? Not everyone is living it up like a superstar... I for one is definitely not. Hmmm I'll post another entry about how dar bfren confessed to me soon. That should be slightly more interesting! :) *fingers crossed
