Another day of trying my utmost best to wake up. That's the problem of working regular hours. You'll have to wake up early in the morning. Hey but I was the one who wanted to work regular hours isn't it?
Got to realise that one of my school mate, Priscilla, used to work at my company too! She was in charge of the website. What a coincidence. Well I've always found her an intelligent & pretty lass. In fact now she's in NTU doing her Masters. How smart & lucky, cos you dun get a lot of parents who are willing to pay for your studies after the age of emancipation. I, for instance, dun get such luxuries.
Saw my aunt in the MRT today on the way to work. She's actually going to a 3-day course. In fact, she don't need to take any public transport to work everyday cos' her company actually has company transport to ferry its staff. Lucky her, dun have to endure the long hours of cramping and squeezing. I want to find a workplace like that too, or alternatively, I could get my own car.
Speaking of owning a car, I've made a promise to myself that I'll get a car by my next birthday. I know for a fact that by then, I still wouln't have enough cash to put in as downpayment but hopefully I'll have some savings so much so that I'll still be able to have the car in rainy days.
Now that I'm all alone in the world & being cursed that that predicament will last for an entire lifetime, I better pamper myself more & think of my retirement years, just in case the curse do come true. I'm a bit sad, but taking things in my stride.
