Pu Tien

Was at Parkway Parade, so decided to give Pu Tien another try. My first attempt was at Tampines Mall after I heard so many raves about it. To be honest, I wasn't very impressed by it. Nonetheless, cos it's still one of our competitors, so gave it a second try while spying on the food & prices.

兴化米粉

To be frank, the bee hoon is not bad. The first time, we ordered the 圃田卤面and it's really not to our liking. So we kinda condemned the place. But the bee hoon is quite good I must say. The prawns are fresh & the seaweed added an interesting crunch to the dish.

Geoduck 象拔蚌

Was a bit disappointed cos from what I recall, this isn't what geoduck is supposed to look like. Instead it should be like this. The taste wasn't as good as what I experienced at Sakae Teppanyaki too. Not impressed at all.

脆皮蒜香鸡

Meat was a bit tough & personally I would prefer a tinge of sweetness in the garlic, but not too bad.

Seawood with Crabmeat Soup

Major disappointment! Cannot find the crabmeat. Was shown in the menu so evidently. The soup tasted like hot seawater. No flavour, no fragrance, nothing.

Overall the good was a lot better than what we had the first time right, but I'm still not impressed. Gimme hawker food over this anytime~

Meeting Sheryn for MJ tonight!!! :)
