My grandmother, also affectionately known as mother or ah ma to me, has been admitted to the hospital. She refuses to eat, and this has been happening for quite some time, even before the Christmas season. Seeing that this is not doing her any good, my aunt decided to admit her into the hospital. But even at the hospital, my grandma refuses to eat. I visited her on Saturday and tried to coax her to eat. She not only refused to eat, she even refused to talk to me! I'm so sad. She was the one who brought me up; the mother I had when my mum was out working. She accompanied me on my first day of school, she brought me home to care for me when I developed chicken pox.
Last night, my brother told me that her condition took a change for the worse. She coughed out blood!
