我回来了！

It's really been quite some time. So much so that I kinda forgot about this little space that I can still speak my mind & not be judged for being myself.

2017 has just started and I've got no complaints so far. In fact, I think it's been pretty good for me since 2015. So how have I been since my last entry in Sep '14?

Oct 2014: Didn't manage to lose any weight but left for Taiwan for the much awaited wedding shoot. Went through a bit of a hiccup prior to flying, but managed to maintain a happy mood since I'm visiting one of my favourite countries!
I must say the experience in TW was pretty nice, and the places we visited were pretty as well.

Bought these one-piece headwear. Turns out to be the best(and only) props for our shoot!

The Kaohsiung team

The amazing thing about taking your pictures in Taiwan is that the team is very professional (of course I wouldn't know if this is the same in Singapore) & all photographer comes with an assistant (or 2)! Really enjoyed the shoot, even though most couple I know complain about how tiring it is. Perhaps because we were also on holidays, it seemed really fun! Also managed to visit Kaohsiung because of the shoot. Totally enjoyed the place! Tried snake soup for the first time at Liouhe Night Market! Was lucky enough to also catch a Hello Kitty Exhibition! Took a cycle to Cijin island on a all-in-one ferry that takes passengers, bicycles & motorcycles! Feasted on seafood and explored some old fortress of sorts.

Also managed to catch up with some Taiwanese friends who introduced YP to his favourite restaurant in TW - 欣葉! And from then on, he loved 刈包 and don't even mind the 香菜 that he usually hates!

Nov - Dec 2014: Favourite period of the year cos of Christmas! Also welcomed Huiyi's firstborn + loads and loads of celebration!

Also proceeded to offer $480K for our 4-room resale HDB flat on 15 November, which eventually was valuated at $510K! That means we do not have to fork out any cash! The sellers were probably very upset, so much so that they still didn't return us the key for the post box after 1.5 years!

Jan - Feb 2015: Decided to ROM exactly 1 year after the proposal, 16 Jan, which is also YP's birthday! Even though I was so excited to be Mrs Oon, my BAE decided to be late for our ROM. But we did manage to register our marriage because the nice JP waited for us before having his lunch! Also celebrated CNY as legal husband & wife for the first time!

More Lo-Hei~

 Apr 2015: Finally got the keys to our first house! Wanted minimal renovation so that we can move in almost immediately. But only discovered that the kitchen drawers were spoilt & had to at least do up the kitchen. Things still proceeded pretty fast with hardworking YP who worked till wee hours of the night to finish painting the house, with his dearest wife was sleeping soundly at home. We shifted in probably less than a month after getting the keys & began our new life at Compassvale Link!

Jul 2015: Unforgettable surprise hen's party by my lovely sisters!

Aug 2015: The first day marks the day of our customary wedding (which is also the day we got together back in 2013)! I really enjoyed the day, with everyone fussing over you & you get to wear lovely gowns that you probably won't even in your entire life!  Also managed to catch up with dearest friends whom I don't get to see often!

Jul 2016: Went for my first Oon family trip! Visited my mother-in-law's hometown, Penang. Was pretty fun to check out the graffiti art and the local food! Organised a farewell for our intern! Her virgin experience of clubs and getting drunk! Also started being crazily involved in Pokemon Go!

Dec 2016: The marriage of my last single devil!!!
